The Spiritual Masters series serves as an introductory reader on the lives and teachings of some of the Masters who have enriched our life and illumined the path. They created a sublime body of knowledge, using such diverse means as song and silence to communicate their wisdom. They arose at different points in history, in diverse cultural and social contexts, yet they all spoke the language of love and compassion. In today’s troubled times, the message of these Masters assumes greater relevance. This series attempts to reach out to the modern reader by presenting the Master and his teaching in a simple, contemporary format.
Our most recent publication in this series is Sri Aurobindo.
Sri Aurobindo: Jeebon O Jog, by Promode Kumar Sen, was the first complete biography of Sri Aurobindo, written in Bengali, and approved by the Master. This is the first ever English version of this book, translated by his son, Prasenjit Sen.
Other titles in the “Saints of Bengal” series are:
Sri Ramakrishna ~ Dr. M. Sivaramakrishna
Sarada Devi ~ Dr. Sumita Roy
Swami Vivekananda ~ Dr. Prema Nandakumar
